Another amazing turkey dinner at Hart's Turkey Farm on our way home from southern NH! We don't get down that way often, but do try to stop in at least once a year or so.. lots of good memories here of past visits, and today's visit was just as nice with our friendly waitress. We stopped in at 3:30pm so our order was out in no time, and was sooo good!
I've been to Hart's many times now, whenever I need a turkey fix. Traditional turkey dinner in various sizes is offered. Many other entrees are offered for those who don't want turkey, i.e., fish, pasta, burger etc. My favorite appetizer is the turkey croquet & turkey tempura. I truly enjoy the shredded carrot in a (vinegar?) based sauce with saltines offered as soon as you sit down along with pretzels & cheddar spread. Desserts & pies and ice cream is offered. The dining rooms offer interesting decor of many turkey platters. The waitstaff are always nice and are attentive. The front is a charming souvenir shop and has a frozen restaurant to-go food. Bathrooms for men & women and there is plenty of parking. I always can't wait for the next time we visit!
A super cute old roadside turkey restaurant. Our server, Melissa was phenomenal. Food was good, traditional, maybe a little outdated for today's elevated palates, but good. Not too pricey. Worth a stop.
Stopped here for my first time. Service was great and the food was OK. They bring a carrot relish to start, wasn’t even sure what it was until I saw the jars in the the gift shop area. Tried the French onion soup. The cheese they use had really good flavor, the soup itself was OK but not one I would order again. I ordered the cobbler and while the flavors of the was good, the sandwich itself was dry. They give you a lot of turkey, which is good, but the ratio of the bread and turkey to the minimal cranberry sauce, mayonnaise, and stuffing make it dry. They do have some of the best French fries I’ve ever had.
Excellent place to eat at. Bathroom was clean even. The male waiter Always kept our drinks full now that's a plus in my mind. The Turkey Meatloaf was out of this world OMG you need to try it and the stuffing. I'm going back to buy stuffing and cranberry and gravy for Thanksgiving. I love New Hampshire didn't even know this place was so close to Laconia even and I have been by this place a million times just finally stopped with my Oldest brother and his wife, my Mumma, my Fiancé and myself and we loved it. Thanks for the Great Service
